This grape varietal, at the base of all the Prosecco DOC and DOCG, came from the Eastern Friuli area and spread throughout the centuries between the Veneto and Friuli regions. It best grows in the hilly zones where the climate is meek and airy, but manages to adapt itself also to the plains. Up to 2009 this grape varietal was commonly called Prosecco; with the onset of the Regulations for the protection of grape varietals, it began to be referred to as Glera, while the name Prosecco is now referred to the wine. The geographical production areas are divided into DOCG – Valdobbiadene, Conegliano, Colli Asolani and Montello – and DOC, which encompasses 4 Friuli provinces (Gorizia, Pordenone, Trieste and Udine) and 5 Venetian provinces (Belluno, Padova, Treviso, Venice and Vicenza).
The Glera grape varietal endows the wine with a pale straw yellow hue and a dry and light taste, delicately perfumed with typically floral notes that express the utmost in freshness and lightness.

Particularly used for the sweet sparkling wines typical of the Treviso area, this wine owes its name to the oenologist Professor Luigi Manzoni who, after years of accurate experiments, defined various prestigious grape varietal crosses. One of these, called 13.0.25, is the result of the cross between Moscato d’Amburgo and Raboso.
A remarkably lively vine, with red berries, it adapts to climates and lands that differ greatly from one another, and prefers hilly, not compact, deep and fertile lands. It yields a fine and full-bodied wine with evident glints of orange hues.

Also the fruit of Prof. Manzoni’s endeavours, this Incrocio embodies the elegance of the Pinot Bianco and the aromatic shades of the Rhine Riesling.
Every Incrocio Manzoni comprises unique traits but among these the 6.0.13 is certainly the most diffused and renowned.
A typical vine of the Veneto region and the Piave River zone, it has adapted through the years to very different climates and soils. The result is a straw yellow wine with a delicate and characteristic bouquet and a very refined taste, full-bodied and magnificently balanced.

This grape varietal is probably the fruit of the genetic manoeuvres of Pinot Nero. It has French origins and is cultivated in different Italian regions.

Hardly adaptable to humid soils, it prefers dry and sunlit climates. It yields a straw yellow coloured wine with glints of green, and delicate perfume and taste.

Among the red-berry vines, it is considered as one of the most noble and complex. Its ancient origins can be traced back to Burgundy, France.

The name Pinot derives from the particular shape of the compact and tight grape cluster which resembles a pine cone.

It yields a light ruby-red wine, with a delicate, fragrant perfume which remarkably heightens with aging.

An autochthonous Venetian vine with red berries, it is mainly cultivated in the Piave River area. It offers a rather abundant production with late harvesting in October.
The modern winemaking techniques have considerably enhanced its value and today Raboso is used as a blending wine for many DOC and DOCG products in the region.

Suitable for aging, it turns into a richly coloured wine with hints of mulberries, raspberries and violets.
